COUNCILLOR VACANCY
The Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a Councillor.
If you live or work in the village, or within 3 miles of the Parish boundary, you are likely to be eligible to become a Councillor. GRANT FUNDS FOR COMMUNITY BUILDINGS.
The Parish Council is pleased to announce that it has secured funds to help with the retoration and refurbishment of two important community buildings in Doddinghurst. A total of £100,000 has been obtained and is being split between the Village Hall and the Priest House with up to £60,000 being made available to the Village Hall charity as grants, and likewise, up to £40,000 to the Parocial Church Council of Doddinghurst for the Priest House.

Doddinghurst Parish Council is an accredited Quality Council which means that it employs a fully qualified Clerk and that its operation, communication, and achievements have been assessed and proven as complying with national standards and entitles the council to display the Quality logo shown on this page. The Council has also adopted the "Power of Well-Being", read more about this under "Our Role".
