Senior Citizens Lunch
The Parish Council was pleased to host a free Christmas Lunch for the senior members of the community. The event was held in the Village Hall on the 23rd January 2010. The event was spearheaded by Clr Le Page who organised and resourced everything needed including the advertising, the venue, the food, the cooking, the helpers and the entertainment. She was ably assisted by members of the Parish Council and the Officiers who help with bookings, setting out the room, cooking, serving and transport.
Sixty people attended for the meal, which included wine and entertainment and the whole day seemed to be very well recieved.
