Doddinghurst Bus Club and Current Timetables

Doddinghurst Bus club is operated under the auspices of the Parish Council with the intention of providing day trips for the residents of Doddinghurst to places of interest. The Club is constituted as a non-profit organisation and the fares charged cover only the cost of the mini-buses provided by Brentwood Community Transport (photo is of the 14 seater bus "Arthur"), the club's membership fee, the costs of Midas driver certification and expenses incurred by the drivers in the course of a journey.

Monthly trips usually include one to either Lakeside or Bluewater, plus an excursion to a place of interest. The travelling time is normally under two hours, and we aim to return to Doddinghurst in the late afternoon.

Programmes are arranged at 6 monthly intervals and timetables are displayed on the Parish Council Notice Boards by the Post Office and the Village Hall. Additionally, a rolling two month schedule is included in every edition of the "Link", or full listing may be obtained by download:

Buses will leave Doddinghurst from The Village Hall car park at 09:30am for excursions and 10.30 for Lakeside/ Bluewater -unless stated otherwise. Pre booking is essential. Please contact the driver.
